The Villimpenta Water House: an economical and ecological service

Saturday 23 April the Mayor Simone Zaghini and Councillor Boris Milani presented the new Villimpenta Water House in Piazza Campo Fiera to citizens.

The municipality of Villimpenta has relied on the experience of our company to provide good, safe and controlled water in an area that is difficult from the point of view of the chemical and physical characteristics of water.

"We want the facility to become a landmark for all citizens," explained the majority council leader Boris Milani "a place to raise awareness of the preciousness of water and at the same time a place to gather. It will be a unique plant of its kind because it will be installed in an area with no municipal aqueduct and with arsenic in the water. An eco-sustainable example: on the one hand, we will be able to enjoy a quality product, coming from our aquifer, micro-filtered, sterilised with ultraviolet rays and analysed periodically to keep the service safe; on the other hand, by drinking the water from the little house, we will obtain a decrease in environmental pollution and an improvement in the quality of individual life as a result of the decrease in petroleum products used in all the stages of plastic bottle production and transport. Last but not least, a considerable economic saving for households. In fact, natural and sparkling water will cost 5 cents per litre with the card and 8 cents per litre with the token".
