Six years after the inauguration of the first Water House installed in Vimodrone, and considering the very positive data regarding citizens' use of zero-mile water, here is the new addition. The Casetta is located in Via Dante Alighieri right next to the milk one.
With great success and participation the Mayor Antonio Brescianini and Cap Group President Alessandro Russo cut the ribbon and distributed natural and sparkling water to those present, along with numerous gadgets including a glass bottle with a label showing the analysis of Vimodrone water.
"When you consider that on average a bottle of water bought at the supermarket costs about 20 euro cents and that on average each family consumes about three litres of water a day," let Cap Holding know "one can immediately see how much of a positive impact drinking tap water or water houses has on one's wallet. The savings in economic terms are, in fact, around 2.80 euro per week and 150 euro per year; but not only the citizens, the municipalities also gain: if families choose to fill their bottles (preferably glass) at the Cap sources and reuse them, they produce less rubbish and therefore the cost of disposing of plastic bottles is also reduced. It is therefore clear that the choice to drink tap water or water 'tapped' in local facilities gives excellent results both economically and in terms of respect for the environment'.
