One year after the inauguration of Expo 2015, one of the elements that characterised the universal exhibition experience returns to Cascina Triulza: the Dkr Water Houses. The Water Houses will be relocated in the city of Milan and in the hinteland, except for a few that will return to live in the shadow of the Cardo and the Decumanus, so that the post-Expo will continue its activities in the spirit of sustainability and care.
The Water House has resumed its activities Sunday 15 May at a dedicated area at Cascina Triulza and will quench the thirst of visitors visiting the site, again free of charge.
"When we installed the Water Houses at Expo we immediately stressed that they would have a future after the end of the exhibition: after the opening of the first Water House in Cassina de' Pecchi, we are proud to return to give the Expo area and Cascina Triulza the possibility of using a safe and eco-sustainable structure, under the banner of the circular economy, a front in which the company is investing time and resources with the CAP21 programme - sustainability commitments," commented Alessandro Russo, Chairman of Gruppo CAP.
"Access to potable water at rates affordable to the universality of people is a human right, proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly and supported by the Church's social teaching in Caritas in Veritate," he added Paolo Petracca, President ACLI Milanesi 'Promoting it at every latitude means not only protecting a common good, but doing the common good'.
