Saturday 11 May Mayor Fabio Franceschini presented the new Castelvetro di Modena Water House located in Piazza del Cimitero.
The event, accompanied by a photographic exhibition of the Burana Consortium dedicated to soil conservation works, was enthusiastically received by the citizens.
"This project is a step towards waste reduction. Just think of how much plastic each citizen produces during their weekly shopping trip. A mountain of waste. The Water House is a further step towards a sustainable economy"., said the First Citizen toasting the newcomer.
During the opening, artist Lorenzo Bonazzi presented an entertaining animation on the water cycle involving everyone, young and old.

The Water House is in operation 24 hours a day and dispenses still or sparkling water with coins and cards at a cost of only € 0.05 per litre. It also features our WaterDrop which allows everyone to taste 'a garganella' of zero km water, good, safe and controlled.
