Volta Mantovana: here is the first Water House

The Mantua Aqueduct SISAM SPA gave Volta Mantovana its first Water House, inaugurated Monday 15 April 2019 in Piazza Cantarana.
Our company has redeveloped an existing wooden structure that was originally designed for milk supply and turned it into a new Water House. This choice, according to Mayor Luciano Bertaiola, "appears to be optimal as it is located in the centre of the village, easily accessible to all residents, and has made it possible to reuse an already available building".
The inauguration was attended by the First Citizen with children from the primary classes who, on the same day, planted the first trees in the adjacent park. The youngest children received a gift of basil seedlings to keep and cultivate, thus whetting their curiosity about the world of 'Green' projects.
The aim is to introduce and pass on to the younger generation the importance of topics such as nature, conservation of the public good and the environment.
