The company ASEP Srl, a company that manages local public services, in collaboration with the municipality, has offered the Water House to the citizens of Bigarello. Users will thus be able to draw safe and controlled drinking water, with coins or rechargeable cards on sale at the municipal offices.
Citizens not served by an aqueduct will be entitled to drinking water free of charge, while everyone will be able to draw water at a cost of 5 cents per litre with cards or 10 cents with coins.
Consuming zero-kilometre water we can help reduce the spread of plastic, its transport and the CO2 emissions that are generated during production.
On average, in 500 Italian municipalities, Water Houses deliver 200 million litres of water each year, saving the environment 220 million plastic bottles and 22.6 million euro to their citizens.
